The Fiction animations promote the magic and wonder found in fiction. Fiction books are powerful mediums that are capable of showcasing imaginative environments, characters, and experiences.
The first animation explores the physical form of the book as a container for the progression of a narrative depicting key elements of the story: a crisis, an uprising, a journey ect. The book physically transforms to reveal what is hidden within the story of a great fiction book. The second animation is an imaginative tale of a character from a fiction book interacting with the physical world. I produced the work in full doing all of the cutting, moving, shooting, and editing on both videos.
