I had an opportunity to visit Fermi lab and the proton-antiproton collider in Batavia, Illinois as research for a campaign to better explain particle physics. What I found was that the concepts dealt with in particle physics are amazingly abstract and not seen as part of daily life. However, these concepts are thought to govern the world we live in, posing an impact on everything in our lives.
At the center of this campaign are interviews conducted with the physicists that work with them to explain the study and concepts behind particle physics.
